The health of our gut is directly related to the health of our mind and body. The symptoms of many common dis-eases can be rebalanced through a healing the gut approach to lifestyle choices, food choices and supplementation.
The stress of living in a thin obsessed society and our too fast paced lives cause nervous system dysregulation which in turn interferes with our hunger and satiation cues and fuels bingeing, purging, restricting and other disordering ways of eating.
Losing weight is a side effect of choosing foods that work for our body, managing our stress, cultivating mindfulness, gut health and the overall health of the body, mind and spirit.
When we are able to tolerate difficult emotions we are better able to stay grounded and calm and mindful of our food choices.
There are many layers to our behaviors, especially the ones that don’t serve us. In order to break habits we need to look at the underlying self limiting beliefs, self talk and nervous system dysregulation.
Stress affects our digestive system, immune system, hormones and the overall health of our body. We have to learn to manage our stress.
There are so many layers to our health - mental, physical, emotional, spiritual and energetic. When we tune into all these layers and learn how to create more balance and harmony internally our lives will reflect that.
Our body image lives in the brain. When we are emotional or stressed it changes what we see in the mirror. Our emotional health affects our body image.
So many of us struggle with symptoms such as pain, inflammation, fatigue, brain fog, digestive issues and more. I have too. There may be tools that could support you in feeling better mentally, physically and emotionally that you have not tapped into yet.
