My practice focuses on empowering you to take good care of your body and mind by encouraging you in cultivating a supportive inner dialogue, self compassion and a healthy relationship with food.
DEVELOPING A RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD
*Diets and the associated restriction, shame and guilt can keep us stuck in unhealthy cycles of behavior for years.
*The truth is we need to learn to build a relationship with our bodies and food.
*When we learn to be in and with our bodies, we are better able to be calm, present and mindful of our food choices.
My EMPOWER framework uses mindfulness, self-kindness and connection to support you in developing the self compassion that is needed to make meaningful change in your relationships with food and your body.
TEEN COACHING
*Being a teenager is hard and has been even harder with the stress of Covid, isolation and social media pressure.
*Mindfulness and self awareness can support your teen in developing greater emotional regulation so they can make more conscious decisions.
*When a teen learns how to be aware of their emotions and mood they can be better equipped to self regulate and make healthy decisions in all areas of their life.
My teen health coaching framework focuses on stress management, cultivating a supportive inner dialogue and navigating social media pressure.
BEFRIENDING YOUR BODY
*A “new language” about your body from the inside out which, in turn, helps you to grow true self-care and intuitive knowledge.
*An awareness of how internal knowledge assists you in regulating the tough emotions, such as anxiety, fear and shame, that block recovery and keep you stuck.
*An understanding of how the powerful skills and practice of self-compassion can help soothe the toughest moments within your nervous system, your emotions and thoughts to keep you moving
forward.
This unique 8-week Somatic Self-Compassion Recovery program teaches you the skills of embodiment and self-compassion for disordered eating and making peace with your body, food and self!
Many of us suffer from chronic symptoms such as fatigue, inability to focus, pain, digestive issues just to name a few. A therapeutic partnership with a Functional Nutrition Health Coach will focus on finding the root causes of your symptoms and the nutrition and lifestyle changes that support health and vitality.
