Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at heathermbeahan@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

No! Autumn Alchemy is designed so you can choose the experiences that resonate with you. You can attend one workshop or join us for several throughout the weekend. Each offering stands on its own, while attending multiple workshops allows you to experience the deeper arc of connection, nourishment, movement, restoration, and renewal.

Not at all. All of the workshops are designed to welcome beginners. You don't need to be flexible, athletic, experienced in meditation, or familiar with somatic or energetic practices. Come exactly as you are.

Comfort is key! We recommend wearing comfortable, loose clothing that allows you to move, stretch, sit, or lie down with ease. For Mana Movement and Mind Your Body, you may want especially comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict movement.

For most workshops, simply bring yourself, an open mind, and a willingness to explore. For the Sunday Sound Healing, please bring a yoga mat, sleeping bag, sheet or blanket, and a pillow so you can comfortably settle in for the experience. A water bottle is also a good idea.

The Autumn Alchemy Table includes food tasting and education focused on nourishing the body and supporting thyroid health. Our tastings will be organic, vegan, and gluten free. If you have food allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions, please let us know so we can do our best to accommodate you.

It's a little bit of both! This intimate experience combines nutrition education, conversation, connection, and delicious food tasting. We'll explore thyroid health through the lenses of nutrition, stress management, and somatic practices while sharing a table with other women.

You'll be introduced to seasonal practices drawn from Chinese and Ayurvedic traditions, including breathwork, acupressure, restorative community acupuncture, Ayurvedic seasonal wisdom, food therapy, daily rhythm practices, self-massage, and herbal traditions. An ear-seed acupressure option will also be available.

No. Participation in acupuncture is optional. If acupuncture isn't right for you, an ear-seed acupressure option will be available instead, or you can simply participate in the educational and restorative portions of the workshop.

Mana Movement isn't yoga or traditional dance. It's a feminine embodiment practice incorporating intuitive movement, breathwork, meditation, and somatic awareness. There is no choreography to learn and no "right" way to move. You'll be invited to explore movement in a way that feels natural and supportive for your body.

Self-myofascial release uses gentle techniques to work with the body's connective tissue and areas of tension. In the Mind Your Body workshop, you'll learn practical techniques combined with breathwork and mindful body awareness that you can continue practicing at home.

You are always invited, never pressured. Many of the practices are experiential, but you can participate at your own comfort level. Sharing, movement, meditation, and other activities are invitations—not requirements.

Autumn Alchemy creates space for connection, reflection, embodiment, and exploration of mind, body, and spirit. Some workshops incorporate spiritual or energetic practices, but there is no particular religious belief or tradition you need to follow. You are welcome to engage with each experience in whatever way feels meaningful to you.

You'll be invited to get comfortable, settle onto your mat, and be guided through a meditation and sound experience using instruments such as crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, and tuning forks. The intention is to create a deeply restful environment where you can pause, turn inward, and simply receive.

Some practices may not be appropriate for everyone. If you're pregnant, recovering from an injury, have a medical condition, or have questions about whether a particular workshop is appropriate for you, please contact the facilitator before registering. These workshops are intended for wellness and education and are not a substitute for individualized medical care.

No. Autumn Alchemy is intended to be a supportive and respectful space, but you are always in charge of what you choose to share. You can participate quietly, listen, observe, or engage more deeply—whatever feels right for you.

That's completely okay. Listening to your body is part of the experience. You're welcome to take a break, step outside, change positions, or leave a workshop when needed.

Think of Autumn Alchemy as a wellness weekend you can create for yourself. Rather than requiring you to commit to an entire retreat, we're offering a collection of intimate experiences throughout the weekend. Choose the workshops that speak to you—or join us for the whole journey.

Autumn is a season of transition, release, and transformation. Just as nature lets go of what it no longer needs and turns inward to prepare for renewal, we're invited to consider what we might release, what we want to nourish, and what we want to carry with us into the next season of our lives. Autumn Alchemy is about transforming challenge into wisdom, disconnection into connection, and simply making space to come home to yourself.

No. Autumn Alchemy is an intimate, limited-capacity event and each workshop requires advance planning and preparation, all registrations are non-refundable.

We understand that life happens and plans can change. If you're unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible.

Thank you for understanding and for helping us honor the time, energy, and preparation that each of our facilitators is bringing to this special weekend.

Each Autumn Alchemy workshop is $70 except for the Autumn Alchemy Table which is $140 and includes an intimate food and nutrition experience with education, discussion, and tasting.
